In 2026, pianist Anna Gebhardt will make her debut at the Wigmore Hall, Lucerne Festival and Beethovenfest Bonn. She has been named a Britten Pears Young Artist for the 2025/26 season, with support by the Viola Tunnard Trust. Most recently, she was awarded 3rd prize at the Internationaler Wettbewerb für Liedkunst Stuttgart together with her long-time duo partner Jonas Müller (baritone) with whom she had previously received the Music Prize of the Kulturkreis Gasteig in Munich. For several years, she has devoted herself intensively to Lied accompaniment and chamber music and has been accepted as a scholarship holder for the 2023/24 season of the Heidelberger Frühling Lied Academy under the direction of Thomas Hampson. Her international concert activities have already taken her to Opéra national du Rhin Strasbourg, Alte Oper Frankfurt, SWR Festspiele Schwetzingen, Festival Castell de Perelada, Konzerthaus Berlin and Schubertíada Vilabertran.

She also maintains a close artistic collaboration with Julian Prégardien, Christoph Prégardien, Anna-Lena Elbert and Florian Störtz. Subsequently, she delved into the realm of lied interpretation under the guidance of Prof. Fritz Schwinghammer, Prof. Christian Gerhaher and Prof. Gerold Huber. In 2015, she was awarded a cultural prize by her hometown of Straubing. She has been a recipient of the Deutschland Scholarship on multiple occasions and is supported as a scholarship holder by Live Music Now München e.V. Jonas Müller &
Anna Gebhardt

Baritone & Piano

Jonas Müller and Anna Gebhardt share a passion for lyric poetry and the classical song repertoire from Schubert to New Music. They met while studying together at Hochschule für Musik in Würzburg and have formed a permanent duo since October 2020. Currently, both are studying at University of Music and Performing Arts Munich, where they are coached by Prof. Christian Gerhaher, Prof. Gerold Huber and Tobias Truniger.

Anna Gebhardt &
Nathalie Schmalhofer

Violin & Piano

In search of musical freshness and passion, the award-winning duo – consisting of Nathalie Schmalhofer and Anna Gebhardt – has developed a wide-ranging repertoire. They have formed a permanent duo since studying together at Hochschule für Musik in Würzburg. They are coached by Prof. Denise Benda, Prof. Bernd Glemser and Prof. Herwig Zack. Within a few months they won prizes at several competitions, including 2nd prize at Harald Genzmer Competition in Munich and 1st prize at Wolfgang Fischer and Maria Fischer Flach Prize. Anna Gebhardt

Soprano & Piano

In addition to the classical song repertoire, the duo is united by a passion for the unknown.

In search of the boundaries of classical music, the duo does not shy away from contemporary compositions, crossover or interdisciplinary art projects.

Moreover, the dissemination of compositions and texts by women and ostracized artists is especially close to their hearts. The two musicians aim to enable the audience and themselves to rediscover classical music.
